Gwendolyn Collins-Greenup is the owner and managing member of Greenup Law, L.L.C., a boutique full-service law firm based in Baton Rouge with satellite offices across Louisiana. Driven by her passion for the law and for people, Gwen is committed to bridging the justice gap, closing the homeownership gap, and ensuring every client’s voice is heard. She represents people and businesses who have real estate transactions, financial legal matters, and civil litigation in Louisiana state and federal courts, including the United States Tax Court.

Prior to founding Greenup Law, L.L.C., Gwen spent more than 20 years in the private sector where she provided consulting, tax, notary, and real estate title services to individual and business clients. She also contracted with business and government clients to provide administrative support services, strategic planning, and training resources. Her public sector experience includes serving in the roles of court director, deputy clerk of court, and legal secretary. She became a Louisiana licensed title insurance agent in 2001 and the President of Baton Rouge Independent Title Attorneys (BRITA) in 2023.

Gwen graduated with honors from Southern University Law Center, where she served as a student attorney in SULC’s Low-Income Taxpayers’ Clinic and was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Writing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Accounting, and Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University, and her Master of Divinity in Professional Ministries from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary.

Gwen's faith, family, and values motivate her to use her education and experience to improve the quality of life for all and leave a legacy of positive change in the communities she serves. Her service in the legal community includes serving on several Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) committees, including the Access to Justice Committee, Modest Means Committee, and Interdiction & Supportive Decision-Making Subcommittee. She also serves as a volunteer attorney providing free legal services to disaster survivors, first responders, and low-income residents of Louisiana. She was selected as the 2021 LSBA Legal Innovators for Tomorrow (LIFT) fellow. At the 2022 Disaster Law Collaboration Summit, she was recognized by the LSBA for her participation in the LIFT Flood Proof Incubator Project and for her commitment to increasing access to legal representation by providing disaster legal assistance to disaster survivors with succession matters, heir property issues, and homeownership disputes.

Gwen's service in the nonprofit and faith-based communities includes serving as a women’s and youth ministry leader, volunteer with various churches, nonprofit volunteer, and member of several nonprofit boards. A proud member of the Louisiana High School Officials Association (LHSOA) and former youth track coach, when Gwen is not busy providing legal representation or doing real estate closings, you can find her on a basketball court or football field officiating youth games.

A lifelong Louisiana resident, Gwen is a native of Clinton and lives in Baton Rouge with her husband, Tarries. Together, they have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and one grandchild.
